Regulations for the Establishment of the Student Off-Campus Internship Committee
Department of Semiconductor Engineering Lunghwa University of Science and Technology
Article 1 To promote practical education and internship-related teaching in the Department of Semiconductor Engineering (hereinafter referred to as “the Department”), the Department establishes the Student Off-Campus Internship Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”).
Article 2 The Committee shall handle the following matters:

Propose recommendations regarding the Department’s off-campus internship regulations and objectives.

Provide evaluation and discussion of cooperating enterprises and institutions related to off-campus internships.

Propose and discuss the Department’s off-campus internship regulations and categories.

Discuss and resolve matters related to off-campus internships.
Article 3 The Committee shall consist of several members, including one Chairperson, who shall be the Department Chair and serve concurrently as convener. Other members may include faculty representatives, student representatives, parent representatives, or external representatives. Faculty representatives shall be elected by the Department faculty during the Department Affairs Meeting. The term of office is one year, and re-election is permitted. Relevant personnel may be invited to attend or participate in meetings when necessary.
Article 4 Matters not specified in these Regulations shall be handled in accordance with the University’s Guidelines for Student Off-Campus Internships and related regulations.
Article 5 These Regulations shall be implemented upon approval by the Department Affairs Meeting. Amendments shall follow the same procedure.
