Regulations for the Establishment of the Advisory Committee
Department of Semiconductor Engineering Lunghwa University of Science and Technology
Article 1 In accordance with Article 8 of the Department’s Organizational Regulations, the Department of Semiconductor Engineering (hereinafter referred to as “the Department”) establishes the Advisory Committee for Chemical and Materials Engineering (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”).
Article 2 The Committee may provide consultation and recommendations on major departmental affairs, such as evaluation, departmental development, curriculum planning, and engineering education accreditation, to serve as references for the advancement of departmental affairs.
Article 3 The Committee shall consist of five members. The Department Chair shall serve as an ex officio member and convener. The remaining members shall be composed of alumni, academic professionals, industry representatives, and other relevant individuals.
Article 4 Committee members shall be recommended by the Department Chair and submitted to the Department Affairs Meeting for record.
Article 5 The Committee shall convene meetings annually at appropriate times. When necessary, relevant personnel may be invited to attend and participate in discussions. Additional consultation meetings may be held as needed.
Article 6 The term of office for Committee members shall be one year, and reappointment is permitted.
Article 7 These Regulations shall be implemented upon approval by the Department Affairs Meeting. Amendments shall follow the same procedure.
